Hi, we’re Mak and Cooper,
We are a brother and sister team collecting unwanted cans and bottles from homes, businesses, family and friends. We return all eligible cans & bottles through the NSW Return and Earn scheme.
We do this while continuing our studies and both working part time at Macca’s. We choose to spend our spare time building our recycling service because we would rather be doing something productive, helping families/households and saving for our future than sitting around playing Xbox.
Mak & Cooper’s Recycling offers free regular collections and a free 240L bin for our regular supporters. There’s no sorting, no mess and no need to make a trip to Return and Earn. We do it all for you!
Our service is completely donation based, which means we don’t pay cash for the cans and bottles we collect. We simply collect the eligible containers you would like to get rid of or generously donate.
Our Story
What started as collecting cans and bottles from our family and friends has grown into a regular recycling service.
We realised that lots of people wanted to do the right thing by recycling their eligible cans and bottles but didn’t always want the hassle of taking them to a Return and Earn location. So, with the help of our parents, we created a simple and convenient collection service that makes recycling effortless while helping the environment.
Through Mak & Cooper’s Recycling, we’re learning responsibility, teamwork, reliability and the importance of helping the community, all while keeping recyclable cans and bottles out of landfill.
Our Goal
Our goal is to continue growing our recycling service, help more families, households and businesses recycle, and save towards our goals.
Every can and bottle donated makes a difference. It helps us build our future while doing something positive for the community and the environment.
